About Monel Metal
Monel metallic is an of import alloy of nickel together with copper. It contains 68% nickel, 29% copper together with 3% other constituents similar iron, manganese, silicon together with carbon. Its specific gravity is 8.87 together with melting hollo for 1360°C. It has a tensile forcefulness from 390 MPa to 460 MPa.
Physical Properties of Monel Metal
It resembles nickel inwards appearance together with is strong, ductile together with tough. It is superior to brass together with bronze inwards corrosion resisting properties. It is used for making propellers, take in fittings, condenser tubes, steam turbine blades, body of body of water H2O exposed parts, tanks together with chemic together with nutrient treatment plants.
