Three Phase Transformer: Three stage transformer connections, Auto Transformer: Volt- Amp relations, Efficiency, Advantages & Disadvantages, Applications. D.C. Motors: Concept of starting, Speed control, Losses in addition to Efficiency (simple numericals only)
UNIT II
Three stage Induction Motor: Construction, Equivalent circuit, Torque equation in addition to torque- slip
characteristics, Speed command (simple numericals only).
Alternator: Construction, e.m.f. equation, Voltage rule in addition to its conclusion yesteryear synchronous
impedance method. (simple numericals only)
Synchronous Motor (conceptual handling only): Starting, Effect of excitation on trouble electrical flow (V-curves), Synchronous condenser. Servo Motor: Two stage air-conditioning in addition to DC servo motors & their applications.
UNIT III
Modeling of Mechanical System: Linear mechanical elements, Force-voltage in addition to force- electrical flow analogy, Electrical analog of uncomplicated mechanical systems; Concept of transfer business office & its conclusion for uncomplicated systems. Control System: Open loop & unopen loop controls systems; advantages in addition to disadvantages. UNIT IV
